Birmingham & the West Midlands
I am based in Birmingham and I do the visits myself, so the area is deliberately tight: Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Sandwell, West Bromwich, Sutton Coldfield and the towns around them. Close enough that I can be with you at short notice, and close enough to come back.
Why the area is tight
One person, doing the work
Nobody is subcontracted and nothing is franchised. A weekend usually means two or three site visits on the Saturday and the same on the Sunday, all within driving distance of Birmingham. That is what makes a same-week visit possible when an EHO letter lands, and it is why I would rather cover the West Midlands properly than claim the whole country.
Document work — HACCP plans, allergen matrices, label and artwork reviews — can be done remotely wherever you are. It is site visits that depend on the drive.
Weekends
Saturday and Sunday visits
Environmental health officers generally inspect during the working week, so a weekend mock visit sees your kitchen the way a busy service actually runs it — full covers, full fridges, real pressure. If your problems only show up on a Friday and Saturday night, that is when they are worth looking at.

Birmingham and the Black Country
Restaurants, takeaways, cafés, dark kitchens, caterers and small producers across the city and the surrounding boroughs. Same-week visits are usually possible.
