Typical process

From first call to audit-ready

  1. 01Briefing call to understand your operation, products and target certification body.
  2. 02On-site or remote gap audit with a prioritised action plan.
  3. 03Supplier and ingredient verification; segregation and process-flow mapping.
  4. 04Documentation pack, record templates and staff briefing.
  5. 05Mock pre-audit and final tweaks before the formal audit.

Clarification

Consultant, not certifier

Halal certification is issued by an accredited certification body after its own audit. My role is to make sure you are ready before that audit happens — the same way I prepare manufacturers for BRCGS and SALSA audits.

The advantage is that the systems I build are designed to satisfy both the halal certifier and the wider food safety expectations of retailers and EHOs. One set of controls, properly documented, stands up to multiple checks.
